Sensorial
The equipment in the Sensorial area helps your child to learn about the world through their senses. They encourage the understanding, refinement and discrimination of size, weight, colour, shape and sound. They are also carefully designed so the child can correct his or her own mistakes. Through doing, observing and comparing, the child learns to reason and decide.
These materials are graded from the simple to the complex to encourage the child's development and keep their interest throughout their time at the nursery.
